SONGLUX policies
Terms of service
These terms explain the SongLux personalised digital service, checkout, production, private delivery and the responsibilities that apply to both SongLux and customers.
About these terms
These terms apply when you use songlux.com or buy a personalised SongLux digital song experience. They should be read together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If a mandatory consumer right applies to you, these terms do not remove or reduce that right.
Using SONGLUX
You must use the website lawfully and provide information you have the right to submit. Do not include another person's private or sensitive information unless you are authorised to use it for the requested song. You are responsible for checking the story, names, musical choices and checkout email before payment.
What you are ordering
A standard SongLux order is a personalised digital creative service that produces two song versions from the story and musical preferences supplied for the order, with private delivery through LuxPlayer. The checkout page shows the current total price before payment. Any optional extra must be clearly selected and priced before you are charged for it.
Personalised creative output
Personalised songs involve creative interpretation. Wording, arrangement, vocal delivery and musical treatment can vary between versions and may not match a particular imagined result. This creative variation does not exclude your statutory rights where digital content or a service is faulty, not as described or has not been supplied with the care and skill required by law.
Immediate personalised production and cancellation
SongLux is designed to begin personalised digital production soon after successful payment. At Stripe Checkout you may be required to actively agree to the SongLux terms and acknowledge that you request personalised digital production to begin immediately. Where the law allows a cancellation right to be lost after digital supply begins, the checkout acknowledgement records that you understand this. The separate Refund Policy explains cancellation requests before production and remedies for delivery or service problems.
Payment and contract confirmation
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. A contract is formed when payment is successfully completed and SongLux accepts the order for production. We use the checkout email for payment and order communications and private LuxPlayer delivery. Keep confirmation emails for your records and contact info@songlux.com promptly if the order information is wrong.
Production and delivery
SongLux aims to start and complete personalised production within the delivery expectations shown during the customer journey. Generation providers and infrastructure can occasionally be delayed or unavailable. If a material delay or technical failure occurs, SongLux may retry production, correct the delivery or provide another remedy required by the circumstances and applicable consumer law.
Prohibited requests
SONGLUX may reject, stop or remove requests involving unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, hateful or impersonating content, including requests to copy or directly imitate a named living artist. Where an order cannot lawfully or safely be fulfilled, any payment handling will be considered under the Refund Policy and applicable law.
Your submitted material and permissions
You keep any rights you already hold in material you submit. You give SongLux the limited permission needed to process that material, create the requested personalised output, operate quality and safety checks, deliver the order and provide customer support. You must have the rights or permissions needed for material you submit.
Private links and sharing
LuxPlayer and private share links are designed for controlled access rather than public publication. You decide who receives a valid share link and should treat it like a private access link. Contact support if you believe a link has been shared unintentionally so available access controls can be reviewed.
Service availability and security
SONGLUX may perform maintenance, investigate misuse, suspend abusive traffic or temporarily limit features when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, provider availability or legal compliance. We will not use this clause to remove consumer remedies that apply when a purchased service or digital content is not supplied as required by law.
Liability and statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits statutory consumer rights. Any other limitation of liability must be interpreted only to the extent permitted by applicable law and in a way that does not make the contract unfair to a consumer.
Support and complaints
Questions about an order, cancellation request or complaint can be sent to info@songlux.com. Include the SongLux order number where available, but never email full payment-card details.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future use of the service when features, providers or legal requirements change. The terms applicable to a completed order should not be changed retrospectively in a way that removes mandatory consumer rights or an agreed contractual benefit.
Questions about these policies can be sent to info@songlux.com.
